missin you crazy (ravi’s version)
Sooo starting a business wasn’t the only crazy thing that happened to me in 2021, I also (unexpectedly) fell in love 🤡. Literally right on the cusp of me quitting my job in June, I met the most AMAZING girl. (ain’t it crazy how life just happens to serve you something when you least expect it??). Tbh, I didn’t expect it to go anywhere. But one date led to another and I’m telling you, I don’t think I’ve EVER vibed with someone the way I did with this girl.
Fast forward. We started dating. I think one of my favorite memories is when we were talking about music tastes. I had to poke her a few times to get her to tell me what type of music she liked lol. But she eventually showed me a few songs- it was hip-hop/R&B type vibes!! After the dates, I’d go home and listen to the songs some more and they grew on me. I remember getting super into one of them- ‘Missin You Crazy’ by Russ. I knew at the time there was something special about it.
Fast forward some more. She finds out her career is moving her to Seattle (we’re both currently in Houston) 🤡🤡🤡. Lol but things are good, we’ve talked it all out :). She’s leaving this month. I couldn’t help but think back to that song. So I wrote my own version of it, just for her, as a nod to all the memories we made together over the last year. I showed it to her last weekend (she loved it!!), and tomorrow it releases for everyone to listen.
